Following 20+ years as a journalist in Europe and Asia, I currently work as the Programs and Editorial Manager at Asia Society Switzerland, based in Zurich. Sometimes, I do content gigs on the side, focusing on research, text, talk, and photo. Nothing on this site is related to Asia Society Switzerland in any way.

I have extensive experience working as a foreign journalist in China, Southeast Asia, and Europe. I know my way around the USA pretty well, too.

My work has taken me from the melting glaciers of Urumqi in the far northwest of China to flooded cities in Thailand. From board rooms of the largest companies in the world and labs of leading scientists to the wonder of the first traffic light in Myanmar's Bagan region. From scenes of violent civil unrest and destructive natural disasters to mosques, parliaments, and cow sheds.
